Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to extend a personal invitation for you to participate in
Harvard's
Second Biomedical High Performance Computing Leadership Summit in Boston
on October 6th and 7th with a reception on the evening of October 5th.
Harvard's Biomedical High Performance Computing Leadership Summit 2008
is the premiere event for the people who create and deploy high
performance
computing infrastructure in biomedical fields. The Summit convenes
leaders from
around the country and the world to share ideas and collaborate on
today's and
the next generation of grid and cluster computing in biomedical research
environments. Approximately 200 CTOs, CIOs, and Senior Grid and Cluster
Designers from top research and biomedical organizations as well as
technical
leaders from HPC vendors around the country will come together to hear
presentations and discussions in four focus areas:
* Building and maintaining large scale HPC infrastructure
* Managing biomedical storage growth
* Connecting to national and international grids
* Green computing and data center efficiency
In addition to the presentations, there will be a break-out track with
participation from the attendees as well as a special keynote and gala
dinner.
